Christopher Turner is an emerging artist who attended New York University where he received a B.A. in Art History and Psychology in '93. He is largely self-taught as a photographer. He has been doing portrait and landscape photography full-time since 2013 and part time since 2004.
His black and white landscapes were part of a group show with SLATE Art (Berkeley) 2016 and his nighttime landscape series is being shown by Poetica Art (San Francisco). His Queer Elders multi-media series was shown at AMP Gallery in Provincetown in the May 2016.
He is currently working on his PROGRESS series, where he's collaborating with playwright Alan Olejniczak. In this series, they are placing people in corporate attire in dark and sometime post-apocalyptic settings.
He lives in London, England with his husband Armistead Maupin.
